Rabine University
Rabine University was created in 2011 to educate clients, team, and colleagues on the subjects we are experts in including paving, roofing, HVAC, building construction, doors and docks, and snow removal. Our University is based around our design centers displaying varoius products, our auditorium, and our experience. Our headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois is home to the Pavement Design Center, Roofing Design Center and auditorium.
Our design centers showcase products but they also allow our team to prove best practices and test new ideas or mix designs. Our team can then observe the pavement or roofing throughout the year to see how it holds up against natural wear and tear.
Pavement Design Center
Visit our headquarters and walk the parking lot with a pavement engineer. You can observe and learn about materials, including industry-leading green solutions in our own parking lot. The 200 stall parking lot includes the following pavement types at various thicknesses along with a pavement maintenance testing and demonstration area:

- Pervious concrete
- Stamped asphalt and concrete
- Asphalt Overlays
- Full-depth asphalt and concrete
- UltraLot Whitetopping
- Roller compacted concrete

Roofing Design Center
We are leading innovators of green roofing commercial services. Green roofing also offers measurable energy savings and aesthetic appeal. Rabine’s Roofing Design Center is made up of 15 roof types, with a walking path for clients. The roof types include:
- Solar panels & roofs
- Vegetative garden & roof
- Cool roof coatings
- Built-up roof with gravel
- PVC membrane
- EPDM rubber membrane
Facility Tours and Educational Seminars
Facility tours consist of group or one-on-one tours of the Roofing Design Center and Pavement Design Center. Experienced engineers educate partners and clients on ground-breaking technology, innovative products and services during our educational seminars.
